Diary of a unicyclist

Finally! I’m not the most computer/phone inclined, but after running around in proverbial circles, here I am. Who am I, you might ask? Well, I suppose you would ask, “who are you?”. Fair enough.

My name is pj bond and I write songs and sing them. This sounds simple, but there is a great deal behind it. I write about the things I see, people I love, places I’ve been, how I’m feeling and a whole slew of other things. Order to see these people, places and things I do what I can to move my body aroud this world as often and in as many ways as I possibly can. Recently i completed a full year of living without a home, travelling all around to see loads of exciting stuff. A quick recap is that I visited 35 or so united states, Canada, the uk, 6 mainland European countries and india.

After such a grand and mindblowing year I figured I’d take some time to relax a bit, reflect on what I’ve done, write about it, and work a bit to pay off some bills. Seeing as I’ve been traveling pretty non stop for the last three years and fully non stop the last year, working a normal job is pretty weird and shocking to my system. But, there are definite benefits to working and staying in one place and I’m determined to find them. So, I’ve temporarily relocated to Asheville NC to try the semi permanence for a while, the whole time planning my next steps. Stay tuned for stories about my time here, including further progress as a unicylist (or is it unicycles? Either way I just started to learn how.) and all sorts of future plans. If you’d like to parse through 365 days of awesomeness, please head over to year of a thousand roommates. If youd like to be in touch, please write me at pjbondmusic@gmail.com. Thanks so much and I look forward to hearing from you all.
